Every time I checked my blogs’ referral, I found out that most of my visitors came from Google and Yahoo search engines. About 80% of my visitors came from Malaysia. One of my blogs received more than one thousand unique visitors every day. Week after week, the number of visitors just halts to that numbers. There are nothing I can do to increase the numbers until I got an idea of searching and submitting my blogs to the other major non-English search engine.

One of the search engines I submitted my blogs’ URL is Baidu. Submitting to Baidu is quite easy, just go to this URL and paste URL blog address, key in the captcha code and press the submit button. Make sure that it goes to the “success.html” page. Right now one of my blogs is up there in Baidu after I submitted a week ago. Maybe I need to convert my contents to Chinese first?

With Google’s Translator, I think I can try adding my blogs to Yandex (Russian), Rambler (Russian), Abacho (German) and Guruji (India).

Address http://www.***.com/ not been made in the base Yandex, as http://www.***.com site is outside the domain of CIS countries, while our robot was unable to recognize its Russian text.

I immediately removed the codes from most of my blogs, especially the blogs that are making money. How do I earn if my visitors do not have the chance to click the advertisements on my blogs? So from today onwards I decided that no more SiteMeter codes on my money making blogs and personal active blogs.

The issues were:

1 - IE Users viewing pages - The error occured when the SiteMeter tag was not a direct child of the body tag (e.g. if the tag was within a table or div). Recent changes we made created a failure for visitors viewing sites using Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 6.

2 - Accessing SiteMeter and Stats - Individuals trying to access or view their SiteMeter stats by clicking on their SiteMeter logo/icons were unable to gain access. This again appears to have affected only individuals using IE7 and IE6.

At this time both problems have been fixed and their services are fully operational.

With this update, I got the idea which domains need to maintain and improve and which domains I will not renew their subscription.

Within those seven years, I had tried to secure a stable employment at the company and other companies, but was unsuccessful. Nine more days I will be jobless and my main source of income is gone, cut off. Now I’m depending on my online incomes from Nuffnang, TLA and Google Adsense.

For me, it’s their great loss of not employing me as now I got the opportunity to start a new career in a field that I have a whole lot more passion for.

Now I had a good reason to become a pro-blogger like John Chow. I hope with this, I will be a lot wealthier, happier and have a greater sense of freedom and purpose.

3. Google Adsense

I received my second cheque a few days ago.

I had tried BidVertiser, Kontera and Widgetbucks, still no luck of getting much moola from them.

I noticed that every time there is a typo error in the URL entered, it will give me a default “HTTP 404 Not Found” message. I will lose my visitors if I did not forward them to the correct contents.

I do not know what the real problem since my other blogs on my other server did go to the custom page. Maybe it is because of the server or maybe I pointed my domains directly to the wordpress folder.

From the general statistics tracked by AdBrite, my blog received over 2,400 page views per day, over 1,200 unique users per day, origin of traffic come from Malaysia and currently Alexa ranking at 502,337.
